From the world’s first nuclear-powered icebreaker to an operating floating nuclear power plant and advanced reactor technologies, the sixth IAEA School on Small Modular Reactors has concluded in Murmansk.
The School on Small Modular Reactors «Experience of Operation and Prospects for the Future» has started in Murmansk. The event is organised by Rosatom Technical Academy jointly with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
On 14 August, the first professional visit to Russia under the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Lise Meitner Programme concluded in Moscow. Over two weeks, 14 women professionals from 14 countries explored different stages of the nuclear technologies, gained first-hand experience at Russian nuclear, research and industrial facilities, and strengthened their professional and leadership skills.
