Training Modules Physical foundations for proliferation resistance Provides understanding of physical foundations from the view point of nuclear physics (nuclear cross-sections and other fundamental characteristics of essential nuclides involved in nuclear power generation) Barriers against proliferation Provides understanding of mechanisms to create barrier against unsanctioned proliferation of Plutonium as an essential issue of sustainable nuclear power generation Protected fuel cycles Provides understanding of isotope transformation within nuclear fuel cycle and specifics of organizing the protected fuel cycles Proliferation resistance assessment methodology Provides understanding of existing approach to characterization and evaluation of non-proliferation issues of nuclear fuel cycle. Physical protection systems design and evaluation Provides understanding of Legal base of non-proliferation of nuclear materials Final test 100 h total (87 h of lectures + 13 h of hands-on sessions)
