On 2-4 August a team building workshop was organized for the pool of experts as part of their industry training programme conducted by the Centre for International Cooperation, Rosatom Technical Academy, aimed at preparing them to work in international organizations. The event involved 39 representatives of different organizations subordinate to ROSATOM. Its goal was to create team spirit and develop skills of effective communication in an international environment.
The workshop took place online, it combined theoretical and practical studies among them defining perception channels and communication barriers, recognizing interlocutor types and learning cultures of different countries. Practical study was in the form of debates and strategic team games where participants trained their communication skills including international cooperation in the context of ethnical and cultural specifics of various countries.
According to the participants, active involvement, positive atmosphere, practical study in the form of games and trainers’ work helped make this workshop very productive, and they would try to practice the received skills at work and in daily life.
Rosatom Technical Academy conducts team building workshops for the pool of experts every year. In 2020 and 2021 the workshops were held in a virtual format.

The industry programme for ROSATOM experts training to work in international organizations started in 2016, its goal was to create a mechanism of experts selection at ROSATOM enterprises and their training to work in international organizations in nuclear power industry. In 2022 the pool of experts accepted 27 new specialists after they had undergone three selection stages. Currently the pool of industry experts includes 187 specialists from different ROSATOM enterprises.
