From 23 to 27 of June under the IAEA’s Technical Cooperation Programme a scientific visit of specialist from Vietnam was organized by ROSATOM-CICE&T. This scientific visit is linked to the TC Project on “Developing Nuclear Power Infrastructure” managed by the Vietnam Atomic Energy Agency for which Ms. Thi Van Anh Nguyen has been working since 2010 in the field of international cooperation and project management. The aim of this TC Project is to assist Vietnam in developing an adequate nuclear power infrastructure and to assure the safe effective and efficient implementation of the first nuclear power project in Vietnam. With the knowledge and skills gained from the scientific visit Ms. Nguyen will be able to contribute more effectively and efficiently to the development of Vietnam nuclear power infrastructure according to IAEA’s recommendations.
Over this time period Ms. Nguyen had lectures on the following topics: NPP Personnel Management, specific features of Personnel Management for NPP with WWER-type Reactor under Construction, Requirements for NPP Operating Personnel, Human Resources Development Modeling, Systematic Approach to Training and Human Factor Reliability in NPP operation. The training modules were conducted by the trainers from ROSATOM-CICE&T.
As a part of the scientific visit Ms. Nguyen participated in the celebration of 60 Anniversary of the 1st in the world NPP and made the report on “Development of workforce for Nuclear Power in Vietnam” and on “Nuclear Power programme in Vietnam and role of most” on the Conference “NPP: past, nowdays and future”.
